Jack Lyons founded what is now Lyons Solutions, LLC in 1984 specializing as a sell-side intermediary. Since then he has sold more than 85 multi-million dollar manufacturing, distribution, healthcare, staffing, consulting, marketing and professional service companies in more than 25 states. His experience and interest lie primarily with profitable, growing companies. He is particularly adept at helping companies increase their profitability and market value. He has extensive experience with buyers and investors ranging from international and domestic public companies to private equity groups, high net worth individuals and consolidator groups.
Prior to founding the company, Mr. Lyons enjoyed a successful career in finance and marketing. As chief financial officer for a high-growth medical technology company, he was instrumental in obtaining venture capital funding. Mr. Lyons held executive level positions with Digital Equipment Corporation for nearly a decade. As part of a high-level executive team, he analyzed trends and developed scenarios to position the company for future business opportunities. Prior to joining Digital, he spent three years in plant operations at Welch Foods Inc, a mid-size international food products manufacturer. In addition, until 1999, Mr. Lyons was a shareholder in a family owned manufacturing firm that is now part of Dow Chemical.
Jack holds a BS degree in Finance from Boston College and an MBA degree from Bryant College. He is a frequent speaker on Business Valuation, as well as preparing for and accomplishing a successful sale of a company. Jack is a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) and a member of the Association for Corporate Growth. |
